About Me
Wendee Miller is an Actress, Producer and Director from the Cayman Islands who is now based in Atlanta, Georgia. She has been acknowledged for her 20+ years of local contributions and artistic work and she was recently awarded a National award as a 2020 Silver Star Awardee for Creativity at the National Arts & Culture Awards in the Cayman Islands. Performing arts has always been her greatest love and passion, from performing in local productions and overseas competitions representing her country in singing, acting and dance. She believes that the arts is where her gifts are and she wants to showcase her talent to the world.
Wendee is also a Producer, Director, Writer and Editor. She has worked on films such as ‘Hands Up’ directed by Ms. Angela White in which Wendee was Co-Producer on that film and she was 1st Assistant Director (1st AD) and Director of Photography (DP) for the films ‘Possessive’ and ‘ Younger’, all shot here locally in Atlanta, Ga. Wendee has worked on local projects and commercials with film makers such as Frank E. Flowers Jr. on the Flowers Sea Swim Documentary 'In This Moment' as Production Manager; with Badir Awe and Pascal Pernix. She has also written, produced, directed and edited her own short film called “Secrets” which was shot in the Cayman Islands and has been submitted and selected in several Film Festivals around the world. She is a member of the Cayman Influencer Community and is still very active locally in the Cayman Islands while being overseas.
Wendee is constantly training and doing acting courses with acting coaches such as Troy and Tonya Rowland from Rowland Acting Studios and Christine Horn from the Booking Magnet, just to name a few. She intends to continue to pursue her dreams as an actress, as well as continue to write, produce and direct more films. She wants to influence others, especially her children to believe that whatever you put your mind towards, it can come to pass, no matter where you are in the world and once you put your trust in God. She believes that you must never let your living circumstances bound or cripple your dreams and aspirations and that once you know what your purpose is on this earth, and you are working in that purpose, you will never work a day in your life.

Past Projects
For the past year, Wendee is training with the Rowland Acting Studios & Booking Magnet Academy building and exercising her Acting muscle as well as filming her own project "Secrets" and working on other projects as the Director of Photography, 1st Assistant Direct and Production Manager just to name a few. She has also collaborated with her Island's Phone Carrier Company, working on interviews and content that is being published on their social medial platforms and shown all around the Caribbean. Wendee is a marvel. She wrote, produced, directed, edited and starred in the short film Secrets, whilst at all times maintaining good humour, kindness, thoroughness and clarity of vision. Not many people would have done the exemplary job Wendee did in such a short time span, with some actors who were new to film work. Wendee is such a dedicated and loving human being; I would work with her again.

My experience working with Wendee Miller and rest of crew on the Secrets movie was incredible. When I saw the opportunity to audition for a locally written and produced movie I was so excited. I was off island but upon my return I was fortunate to be selected. Wendee is such a beautiful soul and this only increased my desire to help this project to its fruition. I have been involved in a lot of amateur theater in my life and a few other local movies and the comradery shared in these projects is always a high. But the message of this production was so moving that it was significant to me that this needed to be fulfilled regardless of challenges. There were many of these proverbial obstacles, some of which I am sure Wendee did not share with us. Nevertheless we forged ahead and everyone pitched in and assisted as much as possible. We all experience highs and lows in life, none are exempt; but Wendee always seems to carry such an air of tenacity and this served her well to overcome whatever “got in the way”. Whilst I am older than Wendee by a couple decades she certainly has my respect and admiration for holding strong to her faith and conviction believing that the mighty God we serve is leading us all in the path of life’s fulfillment according to His plan. I certainly am honored to have been a part of this project and would welcome and encourage anyone to be involved with anything that Wendee Miller is seeking to accomplish.
